A larger image of my current drawing in progress, as the size it is in my house doesn't show it very well, I don't think, and I don't know how to fix that.., And the little ladybug I made my mom for her 54th birthday. Colored polymer clay, embroidery floss, wire, and a bit of acrylic paint. And the newest version of my WIP, as of October 27th, 2007.

2007-02-23 [Trennas]: aaahw thats adorable:D

2007-02-23 [Adaria_Moonlight]: *chuckles* Awe, thanks!

2007-02-25 [Galain]: That *is* cute!

2007-02-25 [Adaria_Moonlight]: *nods*

2007-03-28 [Galain]: I LOVE the autumn leaves. And the dragon sculpture. Oooh, and the sketches. Wow. Cool :-D

2007-03-28 [Adaria_Moonlight]: Thank you, thank you, and thank you *smiles*

2007-08-06 [Silverbullet]: The portrait's coming along good!
I do have a suggestion though, seeing it isn't finished yet and all: Try making the blacks even blacker! You'll see it'll give the drawing an extra punch! :P

2007-08-06 [Adaria_Moonlight]: I think I'm happy with the level of darkness achieved with the HB pencil, actually. I tried working on it with a softer pencil, and I didnt like the texture I was getting with the paper. If I had used a finer grain paper it would probably have worked better. I'm planning on picking up a new sketch book before I head back to Edmonton. I gave one as a gift a little while ago and really liked the paper quality. Not that I really need another sketch book... (have 6 on the go as it is)

2007-08-06 [Silverbullet]: Can never have too many sketch books :P

2007-08-06 [Adaria_Moonlight]: So glad you agree!

2007-08-09 [Adaria_Moonlight]: I picked up some carbon pencils today that I do believe will allow me to achieve a darker shadow without losing the smooth texture I've got going on. *crosses her fingers* If they don't, I may just take them back, because it was $20 for 4 pencils.

2007-08-09 [Silverbullet]: Oo expensive..

You just need to be carefull about smearing with carbon *Tip*

2007-08-09 [Adaria_Moonlight]: Actually, they don't seem to smear any more than graphite, on a quick test. For the most part, they seem excellent. Unfortuantely, they don't seem to want to go over the graphite I've already laid down very smoothly. So I think I may be SOL for this drawing, but I think I'm still going to keep them for future use. *nods*

2007-08-09 [Silverbullet]: SOL?

2007-08-09 [Adaria_Moonlight]: Shit outa luck

2007-08-09 [Silverbullet]: Ah, right :P

2007-10-19 [~Lady Morgana~]: Oh you make sooo cute little things :D :D :D
